Terms of use

Effective October 16, 2026

These terms cover your use of Doubleheader, the website at doubleheader.fans and the iOS app. Doubleheader is a free, read-only scores and fantasy tracker run by William Gillis in Montréal, Québec, Canada. By using it, you agree to these terms.

The service

Doubleheader shows live scores, schedules, standings and stats, and your fantasy matchups. It is free. It only reads data; it never places bets, makes trades, or changes anything in your fantasy leagues. Features may change, pause or end at any time.

Scores may be late or wrong

Scores, stats and fantasy points come from third-party sources and are refreshed periodically. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Don't rely on Doubleheader for betting, money decisions, or anything where accuracy matters; check the official source.

Not affiliated

Doubleheader is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL, NBA, NHL, any team, Sleeper, or ESPN. Team names, logos and other marks belong to their owners and are shown only to identify teams and games.

Your account

You don't need an account to use Doubleheader. If you create one, keep your sign-in details secure and only link fantasy usernames you're entitled to use. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page or by emailing doubleheaderapp@gmail.com. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Please use Doubleheader for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't:

  • scrape, bulk-download or resell the data, or use the app's API as a data feed for something else;
  • overload, probe, or try to get around rate limits or security, or access accounts or data that aren't yours;
  • use it to break the law or the terms of the data providers (such as Sleeper or ESPN);
  • interfere with other people's use of the service.

We may limit or suspend access that breaks these rules or puts the service at risk.

No warranty

Doubleheader is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, William Gillis is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from delayed, missing or incorrect data, from your use of (or inability to use) Doubleheader. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited under applicable law, including Québec's Consumer Protection Act.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the effective date above, and continuing to use Doubleheader means you accept the update.
